Queenscliff Literary Festival back in town

For the eighth year, the Queenscliffe Literary Festival is looking forward to holding events in the Borough of Queenscliffe.

In the past, at our popular January pop-up events, we have presented the likes of Walkley Award winner, Chloe Hooper; Australian stage and screen legend John Wood; and comedian, sportswriter and author Titus O’Reily.

To kick off 2022, we’ll welcome Clementine Ford in what will no doubt be another hot ticket event in January.

Writer, podcaster, feminist, and magnet for controversy, Ford knows what it is to be a target for hate, but it is love that fascinates her.

Best known for Fight Like a Girl and Boys Will Be Boys, Ford’s latest book is a memoir about love.

Heartfelt, revelatory and funny, How We Love, Notes on a Life explores how love, in its many forms, makes its home in our hearts and shows us who we are.

Clementine will be in conversation with local writer Maria Takolander (Trigger Warning, The Double and (Other Stories)) at a special QLF pop-up event on Wednesday January 12, 2022.

WHERE: Queenscliff Town Hall

WHEN: Wednesday January 12, 2022. 5.30pm

TICKETS: Via TryBooking (www.trybooking.com/BWGKE) or the QLF website; $25.00

The next Queenscliffe Literary Festival will be over three weekends, 13 – 29 May 2022.

The QLF is run by a committee of local volunteers and appreciates the sponsorship of the Borough of Queenscliffe.
