What’s on in the region this December?
Here’s a few activities we’ve spotted coming up. Time to get out there and celebrate the start of summer!
Captains lunch aboard Searoad Ferries:
Food and wine lovers will love Captains Lunch on the Bay. A relaxing two hour lunch – a shared grazing table of regional produce and slow cooked meats consisting of large servings and a communal table encouraging the spirit of eating together. Dining is in the Lounge on board the ferry as it sails between Sorrento and Queenscliff.
360Q Joint Christmas party:
3 course meal, free flowing beer, wine, sparkling & soft drinks & the amazing SOS / ABBA tribute band. SOS is a high energy ABBA show. Performing greatest hits from the Swedish super-group mixed with a selection of the hottest disco tracks from the 70’s, taking audiences back to the party decade where ABBA ruled the dance floor.
The Hot Potato Band:
Hot Potato Band’s larger-than-life brass collective is a breath of fresh air, setting a new bar for energetic and interactive musical performances. Finding home in Sydney, Australia, their positive coastal energy pushes euphoric boundaries in their bold quest to reignite acoustic instrumentation.
Bones and Jones Concert:
Bones and Jones featuring Paraquay and Good Sniff. Friday 10th December Doors at 6pm Queenscliff Town Hall All Ages Event Tickets: $10 Pre-sale $15 on the door Covid Conditions: Limited capacity QR Code mandatory upon arrival Maintain 1.5 metres distancing where possible.
Heliotropia Gratitude Crafternoon:
This is a session to share with a loved one you feel grateful for. It may be a friend, a family member, a child or grandchild, a niece or nephew. Together we will complete a craft activity which will then be given to our crafternoon buddy as a gift. All materials are included and children that accompany an adult are free.
Pt Lonsdale Primary School Markets:
The Point Lonsdale markets happen every second Sunday at Point Lonsdale Primary School (Located at Bowen Road, with free parking available on the school oval). Make sure you get down there to see an amazing range of the best handmade and homegrown produce the region has to offer!
Drysdale Community Markets:
Casual stallholder booking. Market runs on the 3rd Sunday of the month, subject to the Victorian Government restrictions. Terms and Conditions of the market are agreed upon completion of the application form. Online bookings close 5pm on Wednesday before the market unless sold out.
Christmas Carols by the water with 360Q:
Deck the halls with gusto at 360Q with a stunning three-course dinner with Christmas Carols at our Carols on the Water event, Sunday December 19. It’s a night to eat, drink, sing and be very merry. Tix include entertainment by our very festive carollers and a welcome drink, other drinks at bar prices. Doors from 6pm.
