Fleetwood Mac tribute comes to 360Q

Since their formation in 2006, ‘Dreams’ have been warmly received at local and interstate venues alike as they deliver the authentic sounds and visual styles of Fleetwood Mac.

Featuring the show-stopping talents of Peta Balcombe as Stevie Nicks, Jennifer lee as Christine McVie, Jimmy Towers as Lindsey Buckingham, Mike Balcombe on lead guitar, Josh Greven on bass and Warren Grima on drums, this is the ultimate fan experience not to be missed.

The band came together when Michael and Peta Balcombe decided to do a Tribute to the Music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, as they realised no one else was doing it.

“We felt that the Music and band were legendary, and the soundtracks to many peoples lives worldwide. So in February 2006 our show was launched as Gypsy (now Dreams) and we have been Australia’s Original Tribute to Stevie and Fleetwood Mac for the last 15 years”, Peta said.

The band’s connection with the audience has continued to be amazing throughout the years, as they have a wide audience of followers, ranging from people in their 20’s to their 60’s. Peta said playing the role of Stevie Nicks always maintained her passion to perform.

“I’ve always loved Stevie Nicks and her journey in Fleetwood Mac. Her own solo career is huge and she is undoubtedly the Queen of many Wild hearts. The connection with our audiences continues to be amazing , and it’s what drives us to keep reinventing our show ,while keeping the essence flowing through all our performances”, she said.

Dreams has toured Darwin, Perth, Townsville and Tasmania, over the last few years and recently in 2019 to Tasmania again. While the band has endured Covid-19 lockdowns they were forced to get creative with how they could rehearse.

“We haven’t been able to rehearse as we’d like due to restrictions. We have posted live performances and streaming  from our most recent show and have kept in touch with our amazing followers on social media. We are friends and stay in touch with each other, and we’re all focused on our future performances”, she said.

Due to Covid restrictions Dreams will perform as a 4 piece for the 360Q event, but the show will still have a full band sound.

Undoubtedly Dreams has mastered the sound, look and feel of what made Fleetwood Mac the global success they continue to be today. With perfect harmonies, vocals and the signature guitar sounds that people can identify with, this show promises to be a theatrical feast with awesome costuming and onstage chemistry.

360Q will be offering a 3 course dinner, inclusive of free flowing, sparkling, wines, beers and soft drinks for the event. $20 from each ticket is donated to the “View DAY Club, Ocean Grove” to help educate children via the Smith Family.
