The Lighthouse Art Collective will host musician Liz Stringer, who will perform for an eager set of two sell-out crowds, on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th of August at the New Hall.
Stringer’s solo regional tour will feature music from her highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘First Time Really Feeling’, recorded at Union Sound Company in Toronto’s east end, under studio co-founder and producer/engineer Chris Stringer.
Born in Melbourne, Liz Stringer is becoming one the nation’s most sought after songwriters and instrumentalists. Over the course of 12 years (and 6 albums) she has honed the skills to generate performance after performance of powerful and melodically rich, story based songs.
The songs on her most recent album comprise the most personal and direct lyric content seen from Stringer’s pen to date. Released in April 2021, this album made the ARIA charts and was awarded ‘Album of the week’ on 3RRR, PBS and 2SER.
To celebrate its release, Stringer will be taking the album on a special and unique solo tour around parts of regional Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania.
